Michael-IIIf Posted February 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2009 Yep. And I checked that my settings too and they are still set to English (US) - whatever that is. Presumably it's American. But the buttons are still in Deutsch. I see our usernames are in a different font size too. Meddling is going on methinks.
andybarton Posted February 13, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 13, 2009 There's all sorts of stuff going on under the hood. Be patient and let andreas go through everything and convert into an appropriate language. Every button needs to be edited individually.
epand56 Posted February 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted February 13, 2009 Yep, me as well, I was going to post a thread but here it is. I have some German buttons.

stunsworth Posted February 13, 2009 Share #8 Posted February 13, 2009 Every button needs to be edited individually. Pesky little bleeders aren't they.
rob_x2004 Posted February 13, 2009 Share #9 Posted February 13, 2009 Other than what is mentioned, on the PC the traditional Private Message page loads onto the screen. On the iToy which I think is on the latest before Leopard, hitting "Private Message" button now brings out a roll up menu.
LUF Admin Posted February 14, 2009 Share #10 Posted February 14, 2009 Thank god it was only a small edit to bring up the English buttons... Yesterday I made a major update of the forum software (3.6.5 => 3.8.1) which caused only a little downtime (~2 h) but took the whole friday and a part of the night to bring everything up again. The update includes some nice features which I will explain in a future newsletter. Most important: - Albums as genuine part of the forum (until now limited to three images, more will be available to sponsoring members) - Social groups will give you a possibility to organize groups around specific topics or interest (All Liechtenstein members, Leica IIIf users or whatever) - You can make friends now! Finally - The member pages were enhanced Just to mention a few... For me it was important to have a current version of the software in order to get all security updates of the last months. If anything else doesn't work as it should please send me a PM! Best regards from Bonn Andreas
Doc Henry Posted February 14, 2009 Share #11 Posted February 14, 2009 Hi Andreas, How are you? How is Bonn ? Yes, it's just that during some days german replace english and i also note that graphic character of our name has changed too (it's bigger and better according to me and it's nice and colored). To day english language is coming back and all things are now normal. Thank you Andreas about your work concerning this forum Best regards Henry

I'm tempted to respond "M8 no worries" but that would clearly be nonsense.
