Robert M Poole Posted November 8, 2016 Share #16541 Posted November 8, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) How about Manchester? The Barton Galleria, one of the finest examples of 19th century cast iron/glass structures. Nice Photo Robert. It is the Barton Arcade in Manchester correct. The arcade is between Deansgate and St Ann's Square, home to Leica Store Manchester. I took this shot when they kindly lent me a m9 and 35mm Summarit to play with before I bought my m9. After someone guesses correctly I will tell you the name of the song since humming is not 1 of my strong points. Best Regards, Michael

war Posted November 10, 2016 Share #16550 Posted November 10, 2016 There's a billionaire villain elected president and killers clowns on the street. My guess is Gotham city. The tune is nana nana nana nana Batman! www.robertpoolephotography.com To be sure, this is one of the cities where protesters took to the streets yesterday. If only Batman could make this nightmare go away. On a less serious note, The pictured city was a backdrop for at least one Batman movie.

war Posted November 10, 2016 Share #16552 Posted November 10, 2016 Correct. As recognizable as your Central Railway Station. The stainless steel panels in the foreground are the top of the Disney Concert Hall. Your turn.

Michael Geschlecht Posted November 10, 2016 Share #16555 Posted November 10, 2016 Hell Rob, Humming has never been my strong point but I am sure that if you could find replays of "Drag Net" somewhere in Computerland that the replays would include the song. Actually, it might be spelled "Dragnet". Best Regards, Michael

war Posted November 11, 2016 Share #16560 Posted November 11, 2016 Hello Wally, Back when there used to be a show on TV called "Drag Net" the program began with the playing of the "Dragnet Song" while a camera showed this building. Best Regards, Michael Hi Michael. That was to be my next clue. Yes the old 50's B&W Dragnet series started with a suspenseful Dum de dum dum........dum and a close up of City Hall on an LA police badge. And yes, you can watch the old shows staring Jack Webb on Youtube. As for Robert's photo, a stone bridge over a waterfall is going to take awhile!
