geaibleu Posted February 2, 2011 Share #6929 Posted February 2, 2011 Obviously, none of the above! Even though I am delighted by your hypothesis! The key word here is cold! I would even say icy cold!!!!!!!!
Michael Geschlecht Posted February 2, 2011 Share #6930 Posted February 2, 2011 Hello geaibleu, Perhaps Iceland? Best Regards, Michael
geaibleu Posted February 3, 2011 Share #6931 Posted February 3, 2011 Not Iceland either, yet it's the right hemisphere, and furthermore Iceland suggests fascinating clues. You may be closer than you think, but analogy is the key word. A few degrees North and quite a few degrees West would be appropriate. Btw I dismissed Finland in terms of location only. geaibleu Posted February 5, 2011 Share #6940 Posted February 5, 2011 Frans, you are very close. That feature is inland though. The Mackenzie ends as a huge Delta and has an eastern branch which is the one to follow. From there you would undoubtedly see similar landforms in various stages.
