Great! And? Was it through Google?

Anyway, your turn

No Google, but it was the blue wall. I knew I had recently seen a wall like that, so I went through some pictures on my harddrive and found what I was looking for.

Probably easy, but I guess there are hardly any hard to guess pictures as there is someone having visited the place.

In which city do we find this work of art?

😋I am a bit dense.

Hello Stefan,

Don't feel bad or that you are missing something. Not all humor translates the same way in all languages.

Sometimes something that makes sense in 1 language does not compute the same way in another language.

My answer is the type of humor that I like which is "silly irony as a result of logical extrapolation where nobody & nothing gets hurt".

Nice photo, by the way.

Best Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael, no harm done and I will survive this onslaught. 😁 As a matter of fact I do appreciate humour, but in this case I was just a bit slow.

I know about language and humour: my wife is German and is able to understand Dutch humour, but at times she is still baffled.

We are both language teachers and enjoy playing with words.

Urbanus van Anus, a Flemish comedian, has a song or a sketch with the refrain: ‘Spring is in the air!’ and he’s jumping all over the place (spring is jump in Flemish)

I watched the documentary about Urbanus on Belgian TV. He sure has a great sense of humour.

Thank you, Stephan.

This time we're not looking for a place, but for the name of a person.

Which famous Buddhist teacher used to reside in this place long time ago?
