A propos "nah dran": Näher als der Elbe-Havel-Kanal ist dem Mittellandkanal kaum eine andere Wasserstraße, geht doch die eine in die andere über. Oder auf der anderen, westlichen Seite den Abstiegskanal Rothensee? Beide sind ja nicht mal nen Kilometer lang, da lass ich mir auch die Schotterstrecke fürs Fahradfahren grad noch gefallen. Ich dachte, das ist ja sooo einfach, das kannste eigentlich nicht bringen. Na gut, ich denke hier ist die Größendimension nicht ganz klar rübergekommen. Also, ein Kurzstrecken-Zwergen-Kanal ist es nicht. Bitte auch noch einmal meinen Hinweis aus Wikipedia beachten. Und falls das nicht reicht, stelle ich hier noch mal zwei Ansichten des Radweges ein. Jepp, die sitzen da auch. Ich hatte an das Gewerkschaftshaus der IG Metall in Bochum auf dem Gelände des Westparks gedacht. Das Bild entstand anlässlich unseres 1.LUF-Treffens in BO vor zwei Wochen.
