After the big flood of 1953, a multibillion project was started to protect the Dutch coastline. A major part is the Haringvlietdam, consisting of a series of immense doors that regulate the flow of the tide into the Haringvliet Estuary. Last weekend two doors were fully open, and one half. If you look carefully, you can see the roofs of cars and vans driving on top.

Impressive image, I'm trying to figure how it appears actually.

However, Jaap, I can't see the roofs, or maybe I see and don't realize they are.

On top of the third butress from the right: a white truck. Roadsigns are clearly visible.

If I find time, I may do a little project photographing there
