The Summicron i refer to (with tab) is from the eightees. Modern lenses like the Summilux asph or the current Elmar are indeed more contrasty. Possibly also the current Summicron but i don't own one. No problem with film generally but the dynamic range of digital cameras is often too short to capture shadow detail and highlight detail at the same time when lenses are very contrasty.
