Heart attack in a polystyrene carton

Thanks Rob

It's called "tartiflette", and consists of swiss cheese, potatoes, more cheese, fatty bacon, and cheese.

It's delicious when made properly, although I hasten to add, I wasn't in the mood for this... :)

I have eaten tartiflette when on holiday in the Alps. Then, it was prepared in a pan somewhat smaller than a coracle, and looks similar to a well prepared omelette.

When not cooked in industrial quantities, it is presented to your table in the pan.

The one we had was delicious, but I have to admit that this one looks a bit grim :)

In other words--fat mixed with fat, a touch of carb and cooked in fat.

Highly appropriate caption. This concoction will surely help your population catch up to the USA in the battle of the bulge.
