mgcd Posted July 1, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2006 Nicely captured. Was this morning or after dusk?
stuny Posted July 1, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 1, 2006 Iwao - What a wonderful, fluid abstract. Is the color from pre-dawn or dusk refelctions on water in the terraces, or added afterwards? Either way, it is lovely. Stuart
marc_dufour Posted July 1, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 1, 2006 Phantasmagorical effect you got there, Iwao !! I like it a lot, but I think it needs some composition, to structure the frame Isolating a "portion", you would preserve this stunning effect, but it would be something more than the pattern. itn Posted July 1, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted July 1, 2006 Conrad, Thank you for looking. This is right after dusk. Far down south of Kunming about 6 hours ride by the car. Even Tokyoite, far away from here. Stuart, Thank you for your comment. There's no re-touch or any artificial effects. Marc, I understnad your point ! How about this... kidigital Posted July 1, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 1, 2006 Excellent images. The last is wonderful. You have combined photographic observation and eastern cultural minimalism to arrive at your own interpratation of the world around you. Kurt
marc_dufour Posted July 1, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 1, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) You see, Iwao !!! I think this one says a lot of things and improve the previous, despite have lost these marvelous tones. But, as shoud say Gérald: "It's a matter of taste" Thank you. mhanke Posted July 1, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 1, 2006 I love both pictures. The first is more abstract, could also be some cristalline structrue photographed through a microscope. The colours are stunning! Teh second one is marvelous as well, very graphic, easier to understand because of the trees. But rethinking it, I like the first one better.
