stunsworth Posted December 2, 2008 Share #68 Posted December 2, 2008 Thanks everyone. I used the old trick of using a display cabinet as a 'tripod'. From memory, exposure was about a quarter of a second.
Tim B Posted December 2, 2008 Share #69 Posted December 2, 2008 It was a great day, thanks to all of you, especially Brian, Ivor and Elaine. Great pictures from those who have posted, on what was a very dreary weather day. So the eyes work all the harder to find the good shots, although I took very few and none at all memorable, I'm afraid. Perhaps I'm still mourning my M8 which came back from two months in Solms with a misaligned rangefinder. I really appreciate the unconditional cameraderie of these occasions - it is a great feeling. Leitzmac Posted December 4, 2008 Share #71 Posted December 4, 2008 With the majority shooting digital and the lack of immediacy in my processing I'm wondering if anyone's looking at this thread anymore, but I'll add a few more anyway! biglouis Posted December 5, 2008 Share #75 Posted December 5, 2008 I echo Brian's sentiment, I really like the shots from a higher perspective, especially that one of us convening on the Barbican walkway. Well done and let's hope there are still some more out there from others. LouisB

Michael-IIIf Posted December 6, 2008 Share #78 Posted December 6, 2008 Al, I agree with James but I also love the one of the cyclist looking over at the building wondering WTF are they photographing. It does help to have been there to appreciate that one Michael
Leitzmac Posted December 6, 2008 Share #79 Posted December 6, 2008 Al, I agree with James but I also love the one of the cyclist looking over at the building wondering WTF are they photographing. It does help to have been there to appreciate that one Michael LOL, I was standing in the middle of the road so was having to look out for cars and he came past so quick, I wasn't sure I'd got him in the frame. Ideally I'd have taken the shot a fraction of a second later so he'd be positioned slightly more to the left.
