Another from my series with Monica. I'm very happy with the colors myself.

 

Of course very intersted to hear what others see.

I like this entire series, and this one espcially for the low-sun warm light in contrast to the cool blues. This is in spite of the fact that Monica is not my type.

I like the composition and colours are great but don't quite fancy this pose. She looks a bit to tight. I'd prefer some of the other Monica shots we've seen so far...

thorstem.. i hope u always take my words as constructive critiques :-)))

this is not exactly fashion shot... why.. cause there is no call for "fashion" in it.. (i dont mean that fashion shoud look in particular way.. not at all.. there is lots of space for creativness and uniqness in fashion too).

as a portrait.. well... i feel that there is empty space between u and the model. empty space - means no real comunicattion - no real play etc...

now, there is some mood to the photo - i agree... but i would rather suggest that u will start working with 50mm lens (i understand that model photo is new to u).... this way u will start sensing things a bit better - both the model and the surrounding... no worries... get used to this kind of photo and u will find later a great use with the summilux80 :-)))

brake barieres... fill the empty space somehow... then u will be on track :-))))

Thanks so far. The product being promoted in this series is herself as model.

 

That is at least the purpose it has become. Therefore it lacks a message og other reason than how she looks in different situations. In know that that puts me off, but that's how it is on this one.

 

We had planned a 'hotel story' but the day we shot all hotels in Copenhagen and within driving distance was fully booked due to a congress in town and we couldn't get permission to shoot in them.

 

We tried to highjack a few other locations. Amongst them the museum that resulted in the anecdote that we wsa thrown out. First we were not allowed to use reflector (!). Then later on an inspector pointed out we were not allowed to do "erotic photos" in their museum. The joke was that she was fully dressed as in the above shot whereas the surroundings were naked people from Greece and Rome. Silly. It was later corrected that it was a (freudian slip?) and we were just not allowed to take photos with anything other cameras than pocket cameras. Eh.

 

So the series now is very much what she likes and on which her face and expression looks as she want it. So far, she likes the "laundry service" (in the People forum) the best - maybe because it's different from what else she does.
