stuny Posted October 5, 2008 Share #21 Posted October 5, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ah, I found one that really conforms to the rules -- I'ts difficult to get beer photos if one doesn't drink. Here are our nieces Cheryl and Sharon at the rehearsal dinner for Cheryl's wedding late last May near Baltimore. Welcome, dear visitor! vertekijker Posted October 10, 2008 Share #36 Posted October 10, 2008 There are two schools of thought in Belgium - those who prefer white wine with their mussels and fries (our national dish) and those who prefer lager. I'm with the beer lovers. Unfortunately I love it so much that my glass was already empty by the time I took this shot... It is a glass from the Jupiler brand. I just notice that my mom's wine glass and my son's lemonade glass are empty as well. I guess we have to go back to take better pictures... ---------------------- Frans Welcome, dear visitor! tdavis Posted October 10, 2008 Share #39 Posted October 10, 2008 After we run the Beer thing to ground, let's do what constitutes a world class Avatar. Gerhardt and Pete definitely have attained that distinction for very different reasons. Before I joined this forum I had noticed the tiny graphic my daughter used to express her mood when signing her blogs, she has dozens of different types, but I didn't even know they were called Avatars. The evaluation categories will be: Technical Elegance Crafted by Elves - Pete gets highest marks, Audacious and Arrogant Jumps Off the Page - Gary also rates a 5, Graphically Superb - Michael, Tells Volumes About Yourself - Nealf, Whimsy - Pierre, and Stick-it-in-your-eye tongue-in-cheek - Frans and I will get at least a 4 in that category.
