Just picked up this this morning in Réponses Photo (together with Cd'I a leading French photomag): good old country leather!

Wish you hadn't posted this. These bags look superb and far too tempting.

Pity the website photo's don't show anything of the interior. If you decide to go ahead with a purchase, I would also be interested in more details.

I'm with Tom. I wish you hadn't posted that. :( Those are beautiful bags and I am a sucker for fine leather but they cost more than I want to spend given the poor dollar/Euro ratio.

These do look superbly made. If I could find one that looked small enough to just fit one body, three lenses and a few odds and ends, I likely order it. The Shepherd's bags all seem a bit large.

Well I"m not so sure about that.

Bag #1 - 8 3/4" x 7" x 2 3/4' (22 x 18 x 7) which is really pretty small

Bag #3 - 11 1/2" x 9" x 4 1/2" (29 x 23 x 11)

When you want to buy a bag, go for a practical, functional interior. Without that, you will quickly tire of the bag. But maybe you can use it for carrying sandwiches ...

Also, do you really want a camera bag that looks expensive? Where do you live?

is that after a while they look like cheap ones.

I agree on the practical approach.

I am sure everyone here has many discarded attempts to get the perfect bag . . .

My mate Andy Biggs is trying his luck, albeit for slightly larger prey..

For an M8 and a few lenses, this is overkill. I have a nice sling bag that'd work just fine.

If you are no shepard or cowboy this bag looks ridicolous in a big city.
