Sister in Law and my Son

Nicely done Mehmet.

The color is very rich and deep. I love the greens and reds set off against the blue of the figures.

I see from the other photo you posted your son was not interested in the ducks but rather dreaming of running head first into the water. It looks wise your sister in law had a good grip on him. :)

Mehmet - Good to see your pictures in the "People" folder. Ditto to the other comments, then to add that your son resembles his father and has an intent look that adds another dimension to a posed family portrait.

Thanks for the kind comments, the only thing i am not sure is my boys feet which is out of the frame. Gepetto, he is a very bright fella and knows water is dangerous and never runs for it unless there is someone in it. His attention was on other ducks and geese towards my back. This shot kind of gives the look of kodachrome at least thats what i think.

Thanks,

Mehmet

I like this shot - colors & lighting are great. I tend to agree that having his feet in the photo would have made for a stronger image from a composition standpoint. Not always possible when shooting with that focal length though.

Mehmet your son looks to be sheer delight for you. His eyes reveal such a personality already. I was kidding you the two photos were funny for me in context. I viewed this one first then the next one I looked at your son was doing cart wheels in the water.

I think this image works without your sons shoes. There is alot going on to see. It helps the eye see the other parts. The thick tree limbs or trunks above them complete a nice vertical movement. Her shoe is framed which is enough. What makes the image look like a family snapshot is your sister in laws direct engagement to the camera. Catching a moment when she was connected to your son would have really pushed this one to a special level.

The color is very striking and vivid. I love how the reds dance around the entire image.
