stuny Posted September 19, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was in the suburbs this weekend. I still can't figure out why a harp & violin duo were playing in the men's department of Macy's -- Not a likely match of music with venue. beramos Posted September 19, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2006 This it had lost me. I see elegance, delicacy and so much class in that department of Macy as in the photo. Well seen Stuart. JHAG Posted September 20, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 20, 2006 Well, now, Gordon, I must confess : it is Mick. Finally, MM. Jones & Wyman sacked him. Macy's sponsors his tour. More seriously : I admire musicians who accept to play in places where people are used to hear canned music only. I feel it's always difficult for the artist, but as a client, very rewarding to have Vivaldi live instead of painful ads blaring in a mike…

Earlier, in two other stores the blaring canned music designed to attract the younger shoppers drove me out.
