Shoe Mount Meter?

For me, mounting a meter on the shoe is, after all, not so a good idea, expecially on a LTM : the Leicameters for Ms, at least, had the capabilty to be coupled to the time knob... a certain form of quickness of operation... but the various small meters for hot shoe (I had an old selenium, Voigtlander-branded, and Leitz too listed some) at the end require the usual operation of hand-helds, which are always better in many aspects.

Get a Gossen Digisix. Same price range as the CV meter. It is very small, uses readily available batteries has better sensitivity than any of the shoe mounted meters and most importantly it does incident light metering. I've had one for two+ years. It i excellent.

Cosmonaut, the Voigtlaender light meter is a fine piece. I carry it alternatively in my pocket (as a pocket meter) or fit it to the camera. Both ways work fine. I 'm selling one of mine for a fair price. If interested, just send me a PM.
