michali Posted March 18, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 18, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8, 135mm Telyt I came across this leopard at sunset dozing off under a tree. I sat with him for about half an hour, eventually my presence obviously disturbed him and he got up and walked right past my Land Rover hissing & spitting! Thanks for viewing, MIKE

michali Posted March 19, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted March 19, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Jaap- It wasn't my deodorant, it was the wild garlic mushrooms I had for lunch! See my next post. Stuart, Henri & Charles- Thank you very much for your comments, which are as always much appreciated. Stuart- This is one of my favorite leopard pictures, and as you said, I feel that it's captured the movement and speed of these magnificent cats. fotografr Posted March 19, 2008 Share #8 Posted March 19, 2008 That's a phenomenal shot. The motion blur adds a tremendous drama to it. He looks pissed enough to eat your Land Rover. You, of course, hissed and spit back at him, right?

He was so angry that I really thought he was going to jump into the vehicle and remind me who's the boss. Peter-You're right I was panning as he was moving very quickly the shot was taken at 1/60. Thanks again, MIKE
