leicatwins Posted March 13, 2008 Share #1 Â Posted March 13, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here are some shots taken during my recent visit in Bali. There was an evening cultural performance. Shots with ISO 320 at wide open. And I am a happy 24 Elmarit user. No processed. Â I guess, I am satisfied enough with f2.8 so perhaps for future I only need the maximum f2 performance for me. So, Summarits with f2.5 will be enough for me in the future:)

Rolo Posted March 13, 2008 Share #6 Â Posted March 13, 2008 The first one is favoured. Excellent isolation of the main subject. Â Nice to see this lens out at night. Â Thanks for sharing. Â Rolo

fotografr Posted March 13, 2008 Share #8 Â Posted March 13, 2008 Image quality is top notch. I love that lens. The first shot is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!! Â When considering other lenses, don't rule out the 35/2.0 ASPH. I found a mint used one for $1595 and it is razor sharp wide open.
ddp Posted March 13, 2008 Share #9 Â Posted March 13, 2008 The reputation of the 24 is well deserved as evidenced in that first image. Fantastic. Who needs lens tests and wacky M8 ruminations? Images speak volumes....
