Marquinius Posted January 20, 2008 Share #9 Posted January 20, 2008 Mike, The last one is really something else, like they are watching TV. Cats tend to do that, but I didn't realise that the bigger cats do just the same. Marco
echorec Posted January 21, 2008 Share #10 Posted January 21, 2008 I agree with everyone else: #3 is really superb!
michali Posted January 21, 2008 Author Share #11 Posted January 21, 2008 James, Ben, Martin, Eckart, Sheldon, Stuart, Pedro, Marco & Gunnar- Thanks for the feedback, as always appreciated. I'm pleased you liked #3. I did a really stupid thing (not unusual), while following the cheetah I ran out of space on the card and started deleting pics, I also deleted #3 by mistake. Thankfully when I purchased this last SCANDISK card included was "RescuePro" which I have never used, and I managed to retrieve the pic. Thanks again MIKE
Martin T-M Posted January 21, 2008 Share #12 Posted January 21, 2008 Mike, like i said above, i really like #3 and i think it need a little post-treatment. I propose you this. I hope you don't mind. Martin.
michali Posted January 21, 2008 Author Share #13 Posted January 21, 2008 Martin- Thank you for your input, I don't mind at all. I hardly did any post processing and I see what you've done has sharpened it up and accentuated the cats. I will play around with it some more. Thanks again, MIKE
biglouis Posted January 21, 2008 Share #14 Posted January 21, 2008 Fantastic shots. #3 is special but I wondered if you had thought about cropping is quite closely to expose the detail of the animals? I envy you the opportunity to see such wonderful animals in the wild. LouisB
imported_peter_m Posted January 22, 2008 Share #15 Posted January 22, 2008 Very nice Mike, #3 is my favorite. You are sure one lucky guy, looks like all the critters are not very spooky since you can get so close. Peter
psquared Posted January 22, 2008 Share #16 Posted January 22, 2008 Mike, Excellent pictures of magnificent animals. The light adds something special, too. Peter
