Advertisement Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Hi zanydave, Take a look here Just a horse. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted August 30, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 30, 2006 Really nice effect there Dave. I like this very much.
stuny Posted August 30, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 30, 2006 Zany - What a gorgeous shot. The light on the healthy, strong horse models its musculature nicely, and the ominous tones of the sky, along with the details and tones of the earth, plus the DOF make for a superb photo. I think, though, you MIGHT have over sharpened it just a bit.
cbretteville Posted August 30, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 30, 2006 Like how the horse is just grazing along and what looks like a storm is brewing behind it. Also like the ones.

imported_peter_m Posted August 31, 2006 Share #8 Posted August 31, 2006 Lovely image Dave, I like it a lot. Only improvement for me would have been taking the halter of the horse. But then the moment would have been gone and you would have missed an excellent image. Peter

Leonto Posted September 3, 2006 Share #14 Posted September 3, 2006 Dave, Superb photo. I like especially the dramatic atmosphere and the exceptional tone of the image. Is it possible for you to do a CS2 conversion of this simple similar photo? Thank you in advance. Horst

zanydave Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share #16 Posted September 3, 2006 Thank you all again for your comments. Glad you enjoyed it. Horst, here is my effort with your shot. (We have similar tastes!) Hope it's to your liking. Dave.
Leonto Posted September 4, 2006 Share #17 Posted September 4, 2006 Dave, Thank you once again for the conversion. Yes, I like it. The slightly higher contrast and the double-tone gives the image a certain 3-D effect. I guess you use similar effects for your superb landscape photos. It is always a joy to look at these impeccable images. Horst
