Really really nice shot. I love the lightning and focus on him. Did you shot it in BW or converted afterwards?

Nikolai, I always convert in after-processing. I use http://www.pphoto-plugins.com B/W conversion tool. Found it more film-like than desaturation or PS Grayscale image mode (whitch is least noisy conversion in blue sky). Converting B/W I ofter add contrast +5 to +10%, not more, to avoid over-burning in whiter areas.

Jak

How do you install this plugin ?

I downloaded it and shifted the exec file in plug-ins CS2.

Nothing…

Johan, firs execute the program. This unzips contents to directory on your desktop. Then move all contents to plug-in directory.

Thank you Jak

Your picture is so striking, so real and full of fiction, especially for me who knows the place

where it was taken.

@nikolaï : it's not a rainpipe, it's the face of the stone catching the sun.

Cheers

@plug-in matter :

"Execute" implies it's not for Mac…

I tried to unzip it but message is : "This file does not appear to be compressed or encoded, etc."

When I click on the "Exec" terminal type window, nothing happens either.

If I put in the plug-in folder of CS2, nothing either, it's not visible in the menu,

line any other plug-in I put there…

That's what I have :

AAARGH WINDOWS…

Yes Printemps, I think, angle of bd Haussman with rue de Caumartin, or maybe rue Charras (the other angle), isn't it ?

I should add the strength of this picture is, to me, in the absence of his eyes. Usually, the eyes, the look, are a strong point.

Here, in the shadow of the cap, with his sculptural face, it conveys both harshness and a form of coolness… He could be in the bush,

watching for a antilop to come up…
