andix Posted 21 hours ago Share #1 Posted 21 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) The in-camara previews (and also the quick previews stored with the DNG) are very different from the processed DNG in Camera Raw or LR. E.g., contrast especially, but also overall exposure. Any way to fix that/ get closer?
Advertisement Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Hi andix, Take a look here Previews and DNG rendered image very different . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
SrMi Posted 13 hours ago Share #2 Posted 13 hours ago The in-camera previews, as well as the preview stored in the raw file, depend on your camera's JPEG settings (iDR, style, etc). The raw file is not affected by those settings.
andix Posted 13 hours ago Author Share #3 Posted 13 hours ago Thanks, @SrMi. Got it! What settings would be closest to the look of the DNG in LR you think?

Probably iDR off, Leica Looks: Standard (Q3). Is there a reason why you want the DNG to look the same as the preview? You can modify DNG to any look that you like.
