SiggiGun Posted 6 hours ago Share #3  Posted 6 hours ago Should I switch again from LR to Capture 1 ? It will be not the first time. However for now I am fine with LR. Will see what the announcement will bring and give us,...

It's the equivalent of hearing the new Apo II lens is better than the ordinary Apo we already have, so we buy one and squint and magnify to see the difference, but we can't. Insecurity fuels the photography market, and the only aim is to get photographers spending money on Capture One, and I predict it will not turbocharge your Leica. ynp Posted 3 hours ago Share #5  Posted 3 hours ago Maybe they will add the live view option while tethering. 😉
Chuck Albertson Posted 2 hours ago Share #6 Â Posted 2 hours ago Strategic partnerships are fine - but I'm still awaiting my free case of LPGS in connection with this one: https://leica-camera.com/en-US/Company/Press-Centre/Press-Releases/2021/Press-Release-Leica-Camera-AG-and-Champagne-Laurent-Perrier-announce-Global-Brand-Partnership

But from a C1 user's POV, this is a reassuring announcement for your investment (mostly muscle memory). I shoot with my Leica tethered fashion, and it already works as expected. Let's see what they'll have up their sleeves. On a geopolitical backdrop, anything that strengthens European tech is highly welcome. Adobe, alas, seems now to be part of the dark forces.

DreiPunkte Posted 1 hour ago Share #9  Posted 1 hour ago Stay with your edit and organize tool and proven workflow: If you don't work or want to work with sessions If tethered shooting is not a question if you are fine with the results of your editing routine. As a longtime C1 user I love to work/shoot in sessions and since autum its a joy to use sessions cross desktop and mobil version. There are a lot informations about C1 sessions in the www.
