hadie Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Share #1 Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) I sometimes need a tele zoom for landscape photography — ideally 150–400 mm. Are there any recommendations for a lens that adapts well to the Leica M EV 1?

lct Posted 7 hours ago Share #2 Posted 7 hours ago (edited) 150-400 i don't know but Leica used to make a Vario-Elmar-R 105-280/4.2 (# 11268) that should fit with an adapter. I have no experience with it though. It was not cheap if i remember well, about EUR 6,000. Now about EUR 3,000 on eBay. Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted 7 hours ago Share #3 Posted 7 hours ago Yes, I have one and used it extensively on M cameras for many years. Excellent, I even got very good results with both APO extenders stacked. One of Leica’s top lenses. It is a combo that takes some training and 💪 one thing: the zoom ring is somewhat notchy. I sent it in to check but it is “ systembedingt” according to Leica. Unused and gathering dust by now as the Sigma L lenses are very close optically but more practical.
