Hi there. Only put this in this group as I'm getting a M8 and need the filters. Excuse my ignorance but if you buy from a company in Austria do you have to pay import duties on delivery here? (UK) Thanks.

Normally yes but you should be able to buy VAT-free in Austria i guess so you'd just have to pay for the UK VAT on import. I would ask your dealer to be sure.

Can't help with the thrust of your question, duties, but wonder if locally/domestically you can source what you seek?

The M8 needed UV/IR cut if I am not mistaken. Depending on what size you need, someone like Ffordes perhaps? (they show plenty of E55, not what you're after possibly).

Red Dot have E-55 as well.

Can't hurt to ask them though, there must be plenty out there not used now.

OP need to verify if VAT is automatically deducted before paying online or then contact the store to ask that the deduct it manually.
Then  VAT and import duties should be applied when importing in Scotland if amount is higher than the limit.

Buying in British territory will avoid import troubles and hypothetic high fees.
