tegel Posted Thursday at 04:50 PM Share #1  Posted Thursday at 04:50 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased an M10m along with a few lenses (24/3.8, 35/2, 50/2 and VM 90/2.8). I've been bopping around town (Ann Arbor, MI) to try to learn what it can do. The success rate has certainly been lower than what I'm used to, but I'm really enjoying the experience. I've mostly been using aperture-preferred with auto ISO and reducing the EV as needed. I'm also experimenting with shooting from the hip using the 24 and 35. Here are a few images that I thought turned out decent enough to share. Comments/critiques are welcome. Welcome, dear visitor! fotografr Posted yesterday at 01:07 PM Share #2  Posted yesterday at 01:07 PM I think it's a great start. Image quality is very good, as expected from that camera. I particularly like the last one. The person in the first image doesn't look too happy about being photographed. One of the hazards of candid street shooting. You mention that the success rate is lower than what you're used to. I assume what you're comparing it to is an autofocus system. With a lens like the 24/3.8, I would expect your success rate to become higher as you get more proficient with zone focusing. The M10M is also a solid performer indoors and in concert venues.
sandro Posted 15 hours ago Share #3 Â Posted 15 hours ago I agree that your start is very good! It doesn't show at all that you're rather new to Leica M! I particularly like your third photo, because of the lighting. Enjoy your M10m! Lex
