andybarton Posted 22 hours ago Author Share #41 Posted 22 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) I am pleased to announce the winner of the Palma Challenge. Congratulations to Christoph Dobrusskin, our clear winner with 38 points. Second was Gerd Moyson with 24 points and third Sebastian Dobrusskin with 22. Congratulations to them all and thanks to everyone who has taken part, as always. If Christoph can let me know the charity to which the entry fee should be sent, I will do so with great pleasure. Here are all the details of the entries and the scores, for those that like to get forensic about these things! Onwards and upwards to Edinburgh! Welcome, dear visitor! StS Posted 14 hours ago Share #43 Posted 14 hours ago Congratulations indeed to Christoph, winning with a challenging (and quite interesting) old camera, also to Gerd and Sebastian. Thanks a lot to everyone for joining again and of course to Andy for organizing the Challenge. Stefan 1
StS Posted 14 hours ago Share #44 Posted 14 hours ago ...as a side note the good old workhorse HP5 was apparently the go-to film for almost everyone not working digitally. I was wondering where you get Rerapan 127 film for the Nagel but found it in stock at an online dealer (macodirect). Which just leaves the challenge of finding a suitable reel for the developing tank... Stefan 2
AZach Posted 13 hours ago Share #45 Posted 13 hours ago Congratulations to all! The results confirm the famous quote by HCB: "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept" 😉 2

christoph_d Posted 6 hours ago Share #48 Posted 6 hours ago Thank you all, I am honored and happy that my contribution has been chosen as the winning picture this year. Andy, your usual Cancer research fund has always been a worthy cause to contribute to, and I am happy if you could send the entry fees to them again. Congratulations to Gerd and Sebastian as the 2nd and 3rd placed, and of course to all participants. We really enjoyed being together in Palma, and look forward to sunny Edinburgh next year. 1

I develop in a Patterson tank, the reels are adjustable and accommodate 135, 127 and 120 film. And I was happy that my repair worked and I had no light leaks…

Thanks Christoph. Consider it done! I used a mid-point conversion from Euros to Sterling as before. Welcome, dear visitor!
