Not for Mac , Conrad. Not sure why that is and the new C1 version 4 does not have it either, maybe the Pro version coming . No just selling my 5d and switching to Nikon for the other stuff that the M8 can't do well like long tele work and PC work. We will see what Photokinia brings and the R10 than make a call. I simply can't leave Leica lenses out of my kit as you know there just too damn good.

I'm on a Mac, and I've got the C1 "Demoirize" filter... I believe you download it separately, at this point I don't recall where it is on the site.

Cheers,

I must be really lacking sleep, I meant gold of course...

Nah--you're just a Habs fan is all, I can tell :) Now as a Leafs fan, I never mistake goal and gold, sigh, even if they are pulling their regular stunts in the last day or two :)

(sorry folks, just a little Canuck joke here. Carry on!).

On topic: I completely agree with you on the new C1 v4 UI. It's amazing, and a winner. I really can't wait for the Pro version.

Little Snitch is for Mac, is there an equivalent (freeware) for Windows?

Regards.

Trend internet security/anti-virus suite that we run on our two remaining Windoze computers has the same "data being exported alarm" that Little Snitch does for Macs. I am guessing that most security suites would also have this feature available.

No, I'm using Windows XP.

The video is very good and frankly the user interface seems perfectly intuitive to me. Just can't get it to do more than load a preview.

Dave

If the files are "read only" ie protected on the memory card then C1 V4 will only show previews ie will not load an image you can work on.

I had this problem and it took a while to figure it out. Phase One are aware of this, previous versions did not exhibit this behaviour.
