Horses for courses. For me the SL3 is no match for the X2Dii. You keep saying X2D, but I am talking the latest model (X2Dii) versus the SL3.

Yes, SL3 does not have an RGB histogram in review. I was referring to X2D's RGB histogram. 

The things I mentioned are the same in X2D and X2D II, though everything has improved a bit with Mark II (e.g., shorter blackouts, quicker UI). But overall, I was referring to the Mark II and my experience with it (6 weeks of shooting with the Mark II).

Maybe I missed it, but I'm surprised neither of you mentioned the color science/fidelity.  I always found the X1Dii to be stellar in that regard. Or has the X2D slipped in that regard?

As for EVF activation, put sensitivity to high and it will activate from many inches away and this be in full view once your eye reaches or is near the EVF rubber.

Thanks for the advice. It is already on high. I have issues only when shooting vertically.
