2Rocky Posted 10 hours ago Share #1 Posted 10 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I am in the process of purchasing this Leica Summarit 50mm 1.5 lens for my M11.. When I fit the lens to the body, go to manual lens set up and set 50 f/1.4 11868/11856/11114 The LV goes dark but hen I 1/2 press the shutter button, the ASA, Shutter speed all come up on a dark screen.. Is this lens with it's adapter compatible with the M11... Any advice welcomed as I have kept this lens for many years and wish to use it for it's special properties. romanus53 Posted 9 hours ago Share #2 Posted 9 hours ago using old lenses with adapter is no problem, try to set lens detection off, try an other adapter if possible, if using EVF check correct position
lct Posted 7 hours ago Share #3 Posted 7 hours ago You may wish to try Dust Protection Off. Did work there:

Do you know of any recommended adapters? Evf is in correct position.

You may wish to pen code it as Summilux 50/1.4 pre-asph that vignettes more or less the same way as the Summarit 50/1.5.
