. . . and now coming back to the beautiful image from 2021 . . .

Question: Does Lightroom Classic and the Creative Cloud work under the latest Operating System Tahoe on the Mac? Is it advisable to make the upgrade now or should we wait until Adobe officially gives its ok, which it did not by today . . .

Does this question fit here?????? Probably not quite but the search function gave me this thread 🤔

I've been running the Tahoe Developer betas on my MacStudio M1, MacStudio M2 Ultra and MacBook Air M4. Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop work without an issues.

Thank you very much.

Still Lightroom Classic has not  been certified by Adobe yet to run properly under Tahoe 26

That's what I found out during the last 1/2 hour

Official Adobe page says:

https://helpx.adobe.com/ch_de/download-install/apps/system-requirements/apps-compatible-macos.html

This is an odd tread for this discussion!

I fully agree with you. I did not know better . . . In the search function I could not find a respective thread 😟

Thanks for your Link anyway. Another confirmation actually that its better to wait.

The risk might be small to go to Tahoe already. But it is my experience that one might get in serious troubles due to unknown reasons. In many cases it might work fine but a small risk is always here.

Tahoe has enough oddities to it that I am going to wait for a couple of updates before I install it.  Some of the changes are what I characterize as "high school geek" features.

Usually Adobe works very closely with the Apple betas to insure the continued function of its software.  It sounds like Adobe is not so sure yet.  Other, smaller software providers will wait until the full release of a new operating system before investigating the compatibility.  Nikon's NX Studio is an example.

Again, running fine with no issues. I just updated to the latest developer beta. Working great! Loving the new features of the new OS too.
