I have the summilux and would like something wider for more city street walk lens. These two lenses are available for purchase at similar used price. I’ve heard the 35mm is the best APO lens that Leica made. Anyone used both and able to compare them? Thanks

I would prioritise the desired focal length over any perceived/imagined minuscule difference in image quality.  If you are able to see any difference in real-world results, you deserve the Nobelprize for pixel-peeping.

Just get the lens that fits your photographic style best. That is vastly more important.

Nguyen,  First welcome to the forum.  Second, I agree with Jaapv's post.  Both are superb lenses and I really can't fault either one.  It will get down to which focal length and angle of view suits your genres of photography.  I use mine for landscape photography along with the SL Apo 21.  IMO, in terms of Leica prime lenses, the SL Apos don't get any better than what they are...stellar.  r/ Mark

They're all magical, but the 75 has some extra magic ;)

That might be true from the lens designer's point of view but doesn't mean anything from the lens user's point of view. Get the lens that matches your view.

If you alread have a 50, then 28 myight be the more useful focal length?
I own most of the SL apos. If I just bring one lens I prefer the 35 focal length. If I bring 2, I think the 28-50 combo is fun. like the others said, I also would recomment to chose based on the focal length.
