fotografr Posted August 31 Share #1  Posted August 31 Advertisement (gone after registration) We have an annual two-day event here where a couple hundred restaurant owners set up stands around the Capitol Square and sell samples of what they make in their shops. I decided to go for a short time to see if I could get shots other than those of people shoving food in their mouths. There were loud, horrible bands playing so I could only stand it for about an hour. M10M/50 Summicron V5 Welcome, dear visitor! Boojay Posted September 1 Share #5 Â Posted September 1 Brilliant collection, the 4th shot, examples of which you see everywhere on the street, makes me sad and mad in equal measure.
stuny Posted September 1 Share #6  Posted September 1 A terrific series. It's interesting how frequently in our country that loudness is considered the norm. It's also interesting that in Zagat surveys the number one complaint restaurant goers have is that restaurants are too loud. Years ago, in the 20th of Paris we went to an early dinner, and the restaurant was quiet, which embarrassed the owner - He brought over his reservations book to show us how busy they normally are. Then there's Norway where all the restaurants are quiet, and one can hold quiet conversations.
