Chris W Posted August 30 Share #3 Posted August 30 Can you break out his comments on rangefinders vs SLR? I can't watch a nearly 2 hours documentary.

costa43 Posted August 31 Share #8 Posted August 31 (edited) It may be sacrilege as he is a legend but I find him a little annoying. Edited August 31 by costa43
adan Posted September 1 Share #9 Posted September 1 Ennh - sometimes that is exactly a part of what is required to become a legend! Knowing exactly what one wants to do, forming ones own opinions about how to do it - and then doing it, against the odds, and not suffering fools gladly. Especially, perhaps, if one grew up in the Bronx (NYC), starting from a relatively working-class environment. Tough neighborhood! 🤨
erl Posted September 1 Share #10 Posted September 1 Being a legend and being annoying do not need to go together. I watched his interview, for awhile, and decided his attitude to the (invisible) audience was distinctly rude and dismissive. He offered nothing whatsoever of value to me or any other photographer watching. I turned off. My time is better spent making photographs my way. 2
rogxwhit Posted September 1 Share #11 Posted September 1 (edited) Let contention abound, and so the world hustles on ... I spent many happy years with a 'flappy' mirror (or two). 🙂 Edited September 1 by rogxwhit
