Groveling for scraps of relevance, aren't you?

I hope you are joking. I don’t know what the problem is. I was not communicating with you in anyway. There was a question and I had some idea. This is a form. We do this all the time. If this is like a stage for where you are competing with others then go ahead. I have no problem in being wrong. Why don’t you show us some images of yours? So we can discuss your potential. And if you have a problem with myself you can DM me anytime.

Go out make some nice images and have fun.
you seem under pressure.

peace out ✌️

cheers 🥂

When you quote a post you are responding to that person. Hence and my question and your response was about begging. And again "you seem under pressure" is nonsensical. Anyhow, I get it that you don't know how to quote the proper post to which you want to respond.

Local beer on me if you are ever in NYC.

True, there is no correct exposure, only desired exposure. Old slide film hands learnt that the hard way.

Here's a rather good video on the Exposure Triangel:

That video is misrepresenting the role of ISO (does not change sensor's sensitivity to light) and exposure triangle has been debunked and discussed in Barnack's Bar.

Maybe. However it gives some understanding of the three parameters that you use to expose your image. ISO is certainly part of the equation. As is shutter speed and aperture. But I don't want to start an academic discussion.

@reynoldsyoung Here's a link to Fstoppers that critiques the exposure triangle: https://fstoppers.com/education/can-we-just-kill-exposure-triangle-already-392790

To me it is an academic question if ISO is really part of exposure. The effect of changing ISO with shutter speed and aperture fixed is that it will enable the sensor to correctly expose. I actually like the exposure triangle. Although maybe an incorrect representation, I find it still useful to a certain extent. To me, again, it is more of an academic discussion. What Fstoppers presented were the three elements but not oriented as a triangle. So what.

My general approach is: pull down ISO as much as you can. If ISO 100 is possible (daylight), use it. But indoors you don't really have a choice. Here's an Example shot with my Q3, f/4, 1/30s, ISO 6400.

Yes, it looks grainy. But that's what I really like about it (Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition, Barcelona, 2024)

No it hasn’t! I suggest others read the thread and decide for themselves!
