The effect of changing ISO with shutter speed and aperture fixed is that it will enable the sensor to correctly expose. I actually like the exposure triangle. Although maybe an incorrect representation, I find it still useful to a certain extent. To me, again, it is more of an academic discussion. What Fstoppers presented were the three elements but not oriented as a triangle. So what. My general approach is: pull down ISO as much as you can. If ISO 100 is possible (daylight), use it.
