For some reason, I set up a custom mode in Aperture Priority and it is not letting me change the aperture on either the lens (aperture ring) or the body (dial).  I would like to reset this bank to the default setting and try again (may have chosen iA by mistake).  Is there a way to do this without affecting the other settings in the camera?  Looks like RESET resets the entire camera and I do not want to do that.

or

Is there a way to see what mode a Custom Setting is set to?  Can I check if it is properly set to A (aperture) or iA (Intelligent Auto)?  Or can I simply find a way to change the custom setting to Aperture mode and resave it over the old setting?

Any help is appreciated.

Is the menu system the same as Peter's S1Rii?

I do not know, but typically in the menu there is a "reset to factory settings"

All Panasonic S cameras are more or less the same. Otherwise an Inter search will turn up similar videos. The Panasonic menu systems look daunting but are quite logical and well-organized and self-explanatory. I wish that Leica would use the same system of chapters. Combined with Leica’s icon main screen it would be brilliant.  At any rate one can simply overwrite any custom setting.

Will RESET just reset a single Custom Set (C1, C2, etc.) or everything on the camera?

Everything. Factory defaults.

I have the S5II but I understand the S1ii OS is pretty similar.

Could you set the mode dial to A (or whatever mode you desire for C1)

Set the remainder of the settings to whatever you wish C1 to be, then save the current settings to C1.
I would expect the camera to overwrite to old settings with these new settings.
