KarinK_Photo Posted July 9 Share #1 Posted July 9 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear all, I hope you can help me with this one. currently I get a white frame in the LCD screen when the camera is showing the last image shot on the SL3. The Crazy thing is that, after uploading the sd card into Lightroom, LR is not showing the full image anymore but a cropped version of the photo. Does anyone know how to switch off the white frame in the camera lcd screen so that I can edit a full frame image in LR? Cheers for sharing your thoughts! Advertisement Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Hi KarinK_Photo, Take a look here SL3 display issues. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted July 9 Share #2 Posted July 9 You have Perspective Control switched on. You can either disable it in the menu or put it under an Fn button. Consult the manual.
KarinK_Photo Posted July 9 Author Share #3 Posted July 9 Hi Jaap, thanks for reaching out. I do not have enabled perspective control. As far as I know this modus shows while taking a shot and not after releasing the shutter and when the just taken image appears on the back screen or am I mistaken? jaapv Posted July 9 Share #4 Posted July 9 You have a point there. Still the white frame and cropping suggest something like that. Have you tried resetting your camera? It would not be the first “computer” to be confused.
FlashGordonPhotography Posted July 9 Share #5 Posted July 9 There’s a crop setting (APSC) in the menus. Perhaps you’ve turned that on? Gordon 1
hoolyproductions Posted July 10 Share #6 Posted July 10 Yes this is the behaviour you get in APS-C mode, most likely this is the issue - this gives a white border in playback to show you where the APS-C crop is (and then in LR it first appears as a cropped image, which you can uncrop if you wish).

Cheers to you as well! This appeared to be the solution indeed. Really happy for you people thinking along with me👍🏽 Edited July 10 by KarinK_Photo
