eawriter Posted July 8 Share #1 Posted July 8 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I'll be visiting Paris in September with my MP. To save space in my luggage and avoid airport X-ray machines, I'd prefer to buy film in Paris, shoot it, and have it developed there. I emailed the Leica Rive Gauche store to ask if they sell film. They don't, except for the new Leica Monopan 50 film when it arrives, maybe in August. But that's too slow a film for my needs. So, can any of you familiar with Paris recommend a place where I can buy Ilford films, like FP4 and HP5? Also, is there a lab in Paris that provides a relatively quick turnaround (three or four days) for developing negatives and providing scans? Thanks for any help. BernardC Posted July 9 Share #2 Posted July 9 I've heard good things about photostock.fr from a colleague, but I haven't tried them myself. Their site lists film sales, but not processing. I'm sure they could recommend a lab if they don't do it in-house.

didier Posted July 11 Share #4 Posted July 11 Photostock has good prices and some choice, it can be a good solution. If you can have the films sent somewhere you could also buy from fotoimpex.de (among the best prices in Europe and a lot of choice). Leica Store Rive Gauche work with a lab not far from them : maybe you should ask them (sorry I can’t remember, neither find, the name of the lab) Have fun in Paris with your MP ! eawriter Posted July 12 Author Share #5 Posted July 12 Thank you, Didier. Someone also recommended Nation Photo, which has several stores in Paris. Maybe my first stop will be Leica Store Rive Gauche, since I'm staying at a hotel on the Rive Gauche anyway.

It is a nice store : much smaller than the other ones in Paris (and I Europe), with a very friendly / family welcome
Bliz Posted July 12 Share #7 Posted July 12 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Well don't try to buy film from a FNAC in France, apparently 🤑. Also never knew a roll of kodak gold stores 200gb of data 🤨 Welcome, dear visitor! RinoJasper Posted July 30 Share #8 Posted July 30 I have used DUPIF Photo Labo before, very satisfied. They are located at: 1 rue Littré Paris 75006 (very close to Leica Store Rive Gauche). 1
