This is Counterfeit. It is illegal.

Fully agree with @darylgo and @darylgo

No it’s not counterfeit.

It’s exactly same product, but heavily discounted because it’s not being sold via official Leica channel

Then I feel sorry for you - that’s a genuine comment, I really do.  Perhaps you need to reflect on the fact that the people you can’t reason with might actually be right 🙂

I support the comments made by @didier and @darylgo on this

I reflected and you are wrong .

My point is products made in China are inherently cheap and perceived to have low quality. All those peripheral accessories in Leica brand are not important therefore the qualify doesn't matter . And therefore get the real one in China with a fraction of the price Leica dealer is selling for

you agree or not, doesn’t matter. Why is my logical so hard to understand?

I agree with you and it's nice to know you're always right and I am wrong.  But then I am always, by nature, a happy and contented person who doesn't engage in arguments.

You ask: why would I choose to pay the Leica price rather than the Chinese price?  Answer: because I can.  Same reason why I will buy this M11-D 100 year set without thinking about the price.

I wish you well 🙂

I’m a bit late to this party, but overjoyed that the -D concept has seemingly gone from ‘M10-D discontinued, no M11-D likely’, to now two -D concept cameras in a year — M11-D Sept 2024, M-11-D100  July 2025 — well OK, not released until 2026 ….

I’ve always thought the -D in its various forms was the true essence of Leica, and this centennial conforms it.

As has been said, lovely detailing on the shutter release.

Those who are fond of knurling might like the 100 Soft release button when it becomes available …

In general m11-D news, I have seen the first one for sale secondhand (mpb uk £7029), and Park Cameras in the UK also still showing ‘3+’ in stock as they have done since launch.

There is also an ex demo available at Leica Manchester with the serial number 5999176, which is not far off 6000000 but I admit it does not quite have the cachet … 😀

Never looked at the serial number till now, mine is 5999603... .. 6+3=9, so I guess it is getting close to 599999-ish ;)
