Neel Posted May 28 Share #1 Posted May 28 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, Lately I have experienced frequent shutter lag or no response to release button press or significant delayed release. I have to press the release again to take a shot. In some cases, after losing a shot, shutter goes off. Not sure it is an effect of a recent firmware update? 1

Kiwimac Posted May 28 Share #2 Posted May 28 Are you sure it’s not a case of the camera using the electronic shutter? That would be silent.
Robert Blanko Posted May 28 Share #3 Posted May 28 Sounds like the camera has to wake up from sleep mode. 🤔

Did you reset the camera after the update? Sorry for sounding like a broken record.

Neel Posted May 29 Author Share #7 Posted May 29 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m positive it is not electronic shutter. I feel the shutter release with a distinct delay. Seems like not a known issue. Will continue to monitor. Thx

Carlos cruz Posted May 29 Share #9 Posted May 29 I remember something similar happened to my m240. I couldn’t release the shutter when I wanted, very frustrating, but it was strictly mechanical thing, not delayed action, shutter button had to be pressed harder, at first a shutter soft release helped, which after a week I’ve lost. Few days later decided to disassemble shutter button and clean it. Worked like a charm.

North17 Posted June 12 Share #11 Posted June 12 I had it for some time until a good firmware update came. FW 2.2.2 and FW 2.2.3 brought it back. 🙃
