bgreig Posted May 13 Share #2 Posted May 13 What is the “toggle focus point” and which button now controls it? How does toggling work? New to this and just learning. Thanks Bgeeig
Tarekith Posted May 13 Share #3 Posted May 13 It toggles between resetting the focus point to the middle of the screen and where the focus point was previously. You can assign it to any button you want.

My De'Longhi Nespresso machine auto shuts off after 120seconds instead of the advertised 9min and it's annoying as ****.
Cal Posted June 13 Share #5 Posted June 13 Hello there, I'm visiting this forum for a long time, but this its my very first comment here. I own a Q3/28 which has not any firmware installed in it. My dumb question is as follows: do i need to install successively all of the firmware versions launched up to this date or does it suffice to install the latest update 3.1.1.? Thanks in advance for any inputs in this regard. Cal

Robert Ardinger Posted June 14 Share #10 Posted June 14 (edited) One last thing is that if you want the image file number sequence to stay sequential to the last image taken (and if you are updating via an SD card and reformatted the card before adding the update file) take a picture first (after the reformat) so that a file with the last sequential number (i.e. Q1000XXX.DNG) will be in the "100LEICA" folder (which is inside the DCIM folder)(can also just drag the last image file from your computer into this location when adding the firmware file). Otherwise the numbering starts again from Q1000000 and, depending or not if you rename the image files on your computer, you could have two different files with the same "name (number)". The Toggle Focus Point function is extremely convenient in face detection mode, when face detection is unstable or you want to temporarily quickly turn it off and focus on the central point. Thanks to the developers for this innovation. However, I ask the developers to slightly improve this function. This function, as it should, works once when you half-press the shutter button. But for some reason it does not work if you focus not with the shutter button, but with the AF-L function key (if you assigned such a function to the button)
