But it is a Chinese lens, meaning sample variation is a thing and if it takes a hit (wall, floor, etc.) you will have a designer paperweight. Voigtlander 15mm and (discontinued) 12mm are AWESOME, so is the Zeiss 18mm ZM. All are under 1000$ used. I bought the Thypoch Simera 50mm 1.4. It's such a brilliant lens. I'm guessing that 28mm is not wide enough. Because I need to do indoor shots of several rooms to create a portfolio for a public institution. So I think a 21mm would be a good choice or? Because it should not have too much distortion? Edited March 28 by Jan1985

Distortion is not huge on the Skopar but for better results there i would warmly recommend the C-Biogon 21/4.5.
spydrxx Posted March 28 Share #23 Â Posted March 28 At 21 mm there will be distortion, but you can probably fix most of it in post processing (I've had pretty good success here).

J S H Posted March 29 Share #26  Posted March 29 If you want a very versatile lens, take a look at the Laowa 12-24 F5.6. It's slow, but that shouldn't be an issue for tripod based interiors and it has surprisingly good image quality. They also make a 15 F2 that may be faster than you need, but it has excellent IQ  and also has very low distortion. Both of those lenses are well under 1K in cost.
