For fast moving animals i use the SL3s with 7fps/Afc and the 500 5.6 with or without the 1.4 extender. I love it. Good to hear. If you ever try Sigma’s new 300-600 F4 With the SL3s please let us know your thoughts!

We are seeing some fantastic work lately by our member @michali who is spending a lot of time in the unknown North West as he is involved in opening it up. Yes, Tanzania is so beautiful and the wildlife so rich and varied. I look forward to seeing more of @michali ‘s work. The northwest of TZ may be getting close to the government controlled hunting area? I’ve been to the northern circuit a few times and down to Ruaha once. Love it every time I get to go. I’m also very curious about Zimbabwe— Hwange and Mana Pools. Looks like a lot of fun with excellent walking safaris and opportunities to get out of the vehicle. jaapv Posted March 13 Share #25 Posted March 13 I loved Arusha, we had Wild Dog twelve days running. Zimbabwe has gone down a bit but still very good. Very interesting are the African Parks places in Malawi and still rather tourist-free. Liwonde is good, especially for Black Rhino and Majete has improved immensely over the last few years. My favourite. Nkhotakota is coming, but still largely undeveloped.

We had three sightings, one of which was the entire pack of 22. Also had 6 leopard sightings , 4 different leopards in 8 days. It was HOT but the sightings were fantastic. thanks for the recommendations. I’ll look at those places 🤙
