Camera body transport without cap

Good afternoon! I’m purchasing a M-P 240. The owner bought it with a lens attached and was selling it as a kit. I already have that lens so he decided to sell me just the camera but he doesn’t have the body cap once the lens is removed. What is the safest way to ship the camera without any damage to sensor? He is suggesting tape but I’m afraid of the adhesive affecting the skin and am not certain it will protect sensor. 
 

Any ideas?

Why not buy a body cap? Send it to him and the job is done. Owning a body cap is a good idea in any case. 

Alternatively, he could wrap the camera in cling film.

Andy's idea is the best, dust is an issue.  Furthermore the body cap can be placed on the rear lens cap when the lens is mounted on the body keeping the dust in the rear cap to a minimum.  Alternatively, a small round plastic storage container cap can be placed over the camera mount, I've done this and secured it with scotch tape that easily removes from everything and doesn't leave a residue.  This is a temporary measure at best.

Amazon will deliver a body cap and lens cap to you (or the seller) tomorrow, for less than £5. It’s a no-brainer.

Or tell them to put the body in a (new) sandwich bag and tape it up. A M-P 240 is no bigger than a large round of BLT.

An “amen,” regarding the body cap suggestion. One should have a body cap, available to use, anyway.
