Popular Post jaapv Posted November 16, 2024 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 16, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Location not disclosed for security reasons (poaching) A Black Rhino with horn is a rather rare sight in the wild. We found this guy (or gal) in a not too dense area of bush and followed him for about ten minutes. Then he decided to check us out and walked up to the vehicle. After a few minutes he decided that we were not worth charging and ambled off. We followed him for another ten minutes before he went into dense bush. The best Rhino sighting I had in more than thirty years of Safari photography... 🙂 Pana S5ii, Sigma 150-600 Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted November 21, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted November 21, 2024 Well, yes. They walk though dense bush without paying much attention to the thorns and sharp branches everywhere, they indulge in the occasional fight, etc. It is not a zoo out there. 😉
fotografr Posted November 25, 2024 Share #4 Posted November 25, 2024 Fantastic sighting and image. I hope he manages to die of old age with his horn intact.
