I think your actual screen is safe… believe it or not, the tempered glass protector is more prone to breakage

Yes but is much cheaper and easer than screen replacement :)

Hi, all.  I just purchased a few of these,

https://shop.dipos.de/products/displayschutzfolie-passend-fur-leica-m11-p?variant=55467954700665

and I am happy to report they work very well.  dipos is the company:  made in Germany, and very high quality products!  And very nice people to deal with.

There is a glass version, and a soft plastic version, and there is a clear and matte version each.  Cheap too.  I first saw these on the “mathphotographer” YouTube channel, and it took me a while to figure out how to buy them — I live in the US.

If you need help, or have a question, just email them:  info@dipos.de

I bought a 5-pack of the flexible plastic matte protectors a while back. My first attempt didn’t go well, so I set them aside. Last night I tried again and finally got it right—no bubbles, perfect fit. The only drawback I’ve noticed with the matte finish is when checking critical sharpness; the image on the screen isn’t quite as crisp. Did you go with the glass or the plastic version?
