Although this is a truly excellent black&white version, I would be interested in the color version here. Although these tags and graffiti are sometimes annoying, they often amaze me for the rich colors used.

Here’s a colour version ( quickly edited on my iPhone ) I just don’t like the colours on the wall, I absolutely get what your saying , it’s graffiti, it’s , by nature, full of colour … it’s just , for me anyway , very off putting looking at the colours . The tunnel itself , leeke st near Waterloo st in London , has some outstanding graffiti pieces and colour ( and a better photographer) would show the works to its full potential. Cheers buddy

It’s interesting to see the colour version but one loses the sense of menace of the black and white. Are the people escaping the Nightmare only to encounter something even more frightening?

Thank you for sharing the color version! As I suspected, this passage holds some wonderful colors in the graffiti :) I just for fun played around with the image in LR and even the small forum version holds a decent amount of color information to make these tags pop. All in all I like them both very much!

Definitely the black & white version for me. With the colour version, it's the colour itself that becomes dominant. With the black & white, the three figures coming toward the camera are the main point of interest and the graffiti just becomes interesting background. It's a great shot. I love the backlighting with the shadows leading the three guys. You did an excellent job bringing out their faces, which must have been quite a bit darker.

Agreed, plus the puddles are important.
