tom.w.bn Posted September 18, 2024 Share #1 Posted September 18, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the S5II for 1.5 years now and still don't get used to the battery behavior when the camera is off. Battery is fully loaded (in camera), I put the camera in the shelf and after a couple of days (probably 10-12), the battery is at 0%, completely empty. When I pick up my Q2 or older M-cameras, nothing happens with the battery in months. Never experienced such an extreme discharge problem with other previous DSLMs/DSLRs too. There are two original batteries. Same problem with both. Anyone else with this problem? Is there probably a setting that prevents a complete switch off? Is there probably a setting that prevents a complete switch off? its probably the bluetooth [99%], it must be still on [independent of the main power button] and check a setting which enables the phone app to wake up the camera even when it is off. tom.w.bn Posted November 15, 2024 Author Share #7 Posted November 15, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think it was the connectivity options. Turned eveything really off and tested both batteries in the camera for an extended time (this camera is currently not used). Batteries were almost full when I checked again. Ok.
