You imagine that it will be fall, fall, fall and then a sharp jerk as the bungi reaches the bottom but nothing could be further from the truth. The fall is very short-lasting (well it was for me ) and then the rubber bungi cord gradually slows you to a stop and then slowly recoils a couple of times. Of course this leaves the person who bungied positively glowing and babbling incontrollably about how wonderful the experience is for at least 3 days after. Everyone does. Pete.
