wilfredo Posted December 22, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted December 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought myself a Canon G9 for Christmas and was out shooting in the church yard to break it in when I came across these books abandoned and damaged by the rain. I took some G9 snaps and then went back home for my M8, not wanting to miss the opportunity for a better quality image. The title on the page seems appropriate for these abandoned books, forgotten and left to the elements. Copyright: Wilfredo Benitez. Doc Henry Posted December 23, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted December 23, 2007 Thank you Wilfredo and also Merry Christmas to you and your family ! It seems "unreal" the juxtaposition of the B&W and the yellow of the leaf ! very nice composition Wilfredo !
stuny Posted December 24, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted December 24, 2007 wildredo - Â Beautiful, sad and a bit frightening since it evokes thoughts of book burnings and other desecrations of the written knowledge.

wilfredo Posted December 24, 2007 Author Share #13 Â Posted December 24, 2007 Stuart, Â I see what you mean. You never really know what people will respond to in an image and what it will provoke in them, that in part is the power of art. Â Thanks again to all, indeed for everything there is a season, and nothing material is permanent. Â Wilfredo Benitez-Rivera Photography
